YSL Teint Resist Foundation

This is my current foundation. On the YSL website Link its £31 and has 10 colour shades. I've had this for quite a long time and am coming towards the end of it, i do like trying different foundations so i may not be repurchasing it but it is a good foundation. I wouldn't say its amazing but I've enjoyed using it.
These are the things i like about it-
  • Good buildable coverage that still gives a natural look
  • Only a small amount is needed so a bottle lasts a long time
  • A good colour match for me when i purchased (my shade is #3 and I'm usually a pale/ivory shade or NC20)
  • Very comfortable on the skin
  • Cool Packaging
  • Its oil-free which is good for my combination skin.
I think because I've had this for a while my skin tone has changed and id need a lighter shade if i repurchased, I'm also not keen on the applicator- its a pump which is good but I'm not sure if its just mine(maybe its damaged) but it always pumps too much out which means i waste a little.

Id give this foundation 7/10- its a good all round foundation but nothing special and quite expensive for what it is even if it does last a long time! I think theres better ones out there for the same price or less.

Next on my foundation wish list is- Laura Mercier Mineral Powder :)

Two other products that i occasionally use with my daily skincare products

  • Dermologica Gentle Cream Exfoliant- I tend to use this once every two weeks or whenever i remember too. Its quite expensive but such a good product. I find after using this my face feels softer and my foundation sits better on skin, no patchiness :)
  • Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum- Again an expensive product and because of this i tend to only use it when my skin is looking particularly bad putting it on before my moisturiser at night. It leaves my skin feeling softer and it also seems to help any breakouts clear up quicker.

Current Daily Skincare Products

I always love to see what products people use in their daily skincare routines so i thought id post mine.......

Theres nothing particularly new here, but they work for my combination skin. Some of these are quite expensive but do last a long time as only a small amount of the product is needed. These are the products i use everyday.

  • Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser
  • Elemis Balancing Lavender Toner
  • Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Gel
  • Origins GinZing Eye Cream
