Tweezerman Brow Mousse
I use this product to set my brows. I have quite dark brows compared to my natural hair colour, now that i colour my hair they are even darker than my hair colour which i don't mind but there also quite sparse which I'm not so keen on.
So to fill my brows in and extend them a little as they are naturally quite short, i either use a matte shadow like Omega by Mac or a brow pencil like Rimmel Eyebrow pencil in Brown and then brush through the brows with this mousse to set.
Its not a very exciting product but I'm really happy with it and it does just what i want, setting the brow but adding no extra colour or a clumpy, shiny unnatural appearance, it feels and looks really natural and keeps my eyebrows and the products i use on them in place all day. I really recommend this! Link

Dior Lipstick in Pink Junon (349)
When i first got this lipstick i wasn't sure about the colour, it looked a little chalky. I find using a lip brush to apply it helps and making sure my lips are always well moisturised. This also helps the lipstick last longer i find.
This is the pinkest lipstick that i own, its a very basic matte shade with no shimmer and can be built up to a strong colour. I love the smell of this lipstick which may not be for everyone, it kinda reminds me of what lipsticks used to smell like when you were younger- an older sister or mothers lipstick, i guess you could say slightly crayony. Its a little strange that i like that smell but it doesn't last long when on the lips, only during application.
I think this is a great colour to have in your collection, my favourite way to wear it is bold with a lots of mascara and a light matte shadow so all the focus can be on the lips. This lipstick costs around £22-£25 depending on where you purchase it from.
Theres a small price drop currently on some Dior lipsticks at Debenhams. Link

Mac Lipstick in Utter Fun
I haven't had it long so it doesn't look very used but i will definitely be whacking it on in the gorgeous sunshine and on holidays! A possible dupe since this is not permanent could be Revlon Cherries in the Snow lipstick :)

Models Own Nail Polish in Magenta Divine
I personally don't think there is a much of a difference between Models Own and Barry M polishes except for the price, which is £5 to Barry M's £2.99. So Barry M will probably be where I head next time for polish unless theres a colour that I'm drawn to at the Models Own counter.

Bobbi Brown Corrector
I've been using this corrector under my eyes since around November last year and am really happy with it. I use it before my foundation sometimes or after just under my eyes to cover dark circles and its designed so that you can use less concealer, although some people just use this to conceal under their eyes.
I was matched to a shade called Porcelain Bisque which is very light for me but is designed to do this so it lightens and brightens the area and then you can use a concealer similar to your skin tone to make the finished look more even. I really like using this product and think it makes a huge difference to my under eye area. Its £17 and has already lasted me 7 months so I'll definitely be repurchasing. Link

Illamasqua Medium Pencil in Vow
I have been trying to get a white or flesh colour eye pencil for a long time, pretty much after seeing a photo of myself and finally at the age of 25 realising that i have very small eyes and need some help to make them appear bigger. I remember reading in a magazine that using a light colour on the waterline of your lower lashes gives the illusion that your eyes are larger, so decided to pick one up and try it out.
Originally I was going to buy a Mac one as i was already at one of their counters to purchase something else but because it was so busy there i drifted off over to the Illamasqua counter and picked this one out straight away! The colour is Vow which is a pale flesh colour that feels alot less harsh than white. This was £13 in Selfridges and so far I'm really happy with it, i feel it gives the illusion my eyes are bigger and takes away redness from my eyes and also lasts all day on me which is fantastic. The information on the pencil actually states that it can be used on the eyes, lips, face and body but i think i'll mostly be using it on my waterline. overall i would really reccomend this as a great defining pencil and also the colour is great for standing out but not being too harsh. Becca Lip & Cheek Creme
This is my current favourite cream blusher, its a multi-use product that you can use for the lips too but i dont really use it on my lips. I use my fingers to apply this blush and it lasts the longest any blush has ever lasted on my skin adding much needed colour to my pale skin.
The shade I have is Rosebud and is priced at £24, which is expensive but ive had this for quite a while and i feel you only need a small amount each time, no touch ups during the day too means this blush will last a long time for me. The shade is a really pretty light pink which suprisingly looks quite natural, i also love this blush as its in a cream formula which is always great to use as it feels softer and i find is more natural looking. Plus it has a cute little mirror in the compact which is always handy!

TRESemme Instant Refresh Dry Shampoo
I've only tried two other dry shampoos before- a Mark Hill one and an Umberto Giannini Glam Hair one but this one from Tresemme is my favourite out of them all. I like the fresh smell and how long lasting it is, i feel that it really gives a boost to my hair and cuts down on the amount of times i need to wash my hair compared to the others which made my hair look a bit better for a couple of hours! Its also a really good price at £4.99 from Superdrug.Link

Nars Sheer Lipstick in Barbarella
My Favourite lipstick and one of my first purchased items from Nars, it has a perfect peach, pink colour and has a glossy consistency. Although it is glossy and called a 'sheer' lipstick you can build a good amount of colour and it feels moisturising, not dry on the lips at all. I also like the smell, a fruity sweet smell which does fade quickly but is nice when applying the lipstick. This lipstick is great for the summer as the colour is fresh and pretty but not too much and doesn't feel heavy on the lips, you can definitely build the colour up with this lipstick.
In terms of staying power this lipstick is nothing special and like a lot of lipsticks needs to be reapplied during the day- probably because its a gloss style lippy but i don't mind reapplying as its so easy to use and feels moisturising on the lips.
I couldn't find Barbarella lipstick on the Nars website but found it on hqhair.com priced at £17.50 Link

Mac Paint Pot
Quite a few years ago i got my first Mac paint pot which was in the shade Bare Study, i think i chose that shade as it was a light champagne colour with shimmer and i was and still am more of a lipstick girl so tend to keep my eye makeup quite simple. I think the problem i had with this shade was i always found it too hard to use as stand alone eyeshadow, it had dried out and i started to dislike the shimmer.
Only recently did i realise alot of people use Paint Pots and the Mac Eye Paints as a primer for their eye makeup and a base to help the eyeshadow last longer. So i decided to look for a shade that could even out my eye area, lighten my eyes and it had to be matte- no shimmer!
And this is what i purchased last weekend- Soft Ochre Paint Pot. I was between this and painterly but i decided to go for the more yellow-toned shade as it was a better match for my skin. I found it quite hard to get this and it took three different Mac counter attempts and alot of Sailor dressed makeup artists to get hold of this because it was just so busy everywhere i went! But if you do live around London i would recommend the Mac counter at House of Fraser Near Monument tube station as it was lovely and quiet, i think alot of people forget that one!
I use my fingers to apply this to my eyelids and blend in, i think as well as using this as a base to put shadow on top off i could also wear it on its own for those really lazy makeup days. The Paint Pots are £14.50 each. Link

Barry M Nail Paint
Mac Mineralize Skinfinish Natural
I love how it feels soft on the skin and blends really well. My shade is Light Plus and i first tried this product on a beauty short course i did earlier in the year. I'd heard about Mac Mineralize powders before but had never gotten around to trying one out, favouring the more instantly exciting lipsticks and eyeshadows Mac have to offer. But when i tried it loved the effect that it gave my makeup, helping to even out my skin tone.
At £20.50 Link it is one of the more expensive products that Mac have but i feel its worth the price as its a brilliant product and i only use a little at a time, so it will last. I also tried Soft and Gentle in the Mineralize Skinfinish range on my course which i would love to purchase too as its a gorgeous colour, that's next on my list!
